Amboseli National Park is 265kms from Nairobi and it takes approximate 4 hours by road to get there. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Masai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's most popular parks.

Amboseli is famous for its tremendous variety of big game. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including  Lions, Cheetah Zebra, Wildebeest,  Buffalo, Giraffes and Baboons among other animals
